6-10 am: Jay Roberts In the Morning

Born and raised in St. Paul, Jay began his radio career in Mankato, MN, with stops in Minneapolis (93.7 The Edge, 92 KQRS, and Zone 105), Northern Michigan, West Central Minnesota, and nationwide on a syndicated radio network. He’s passionate about our music and our communities! When not on the air, Jay enjoys hunting, camping, and fishing, boating, exotic cars, and chasing severe storms. Jay and his wife and daughter also enjoy volunteering and supporting various non-profit organizations, and is an advocate for organ and tissue donation.

10-2pm: Laura McKenna in the Midday

Laura McKenna grew up in Ohio and got her first job in radio in La Crosse in 2005. She packed up her stuff, made the move, and has been in Wisconsin ever since! Her favorite season is winter but she loves to spend all summer in her vegetable garden. When she isn’t in her pink kitchen cooking up vegetarian recipes, more than likely she’s taking bubble baths, reading mystery novels (sometimes while in a bubble bath), cheering for THEE Ohio State Buckeyes, or officiating weddings! She married her best friend from college last year. Laura’s favorite way to spend a Friday night is watching Dateline with her cat (Phil Dawson) on her lap.

2-7pm: Mike McKay in the Afternoon

Mike is thrilled to be on the air at St. Croix Country! He and his wife Lori grew up here, and they still live here as well. When he’s not on the air, Mike spends time working around the house and yard as well as relaxing on the deck, usually more relaxing than working! Weekends mean exploring the area and even after all these years, both Mike and his wife still find things they’ve never seen before. He enjoys a little bit of online poker and spending quality time with his Pomeranian GiGi and kitty “Violet”. Oh, and hockey is the only sport that matters in his house, so “GO WILD”!
